Frequently asked questions about this course
Is this useful if I understand English but feel unsure when presenting?
Yes, if you want to use your existing English more effectively in presentations and conversations. The course combines clear structure, understandable wording, speaking practice and personal feedback. We discuss your starting level before booking. It is not automatically a complete beginners’ course; the emphasis is on professional speaking tasks.
Should I memorise my entire presentation in English?
A clear structure and short notes are generally more useful than memorising every sentence. They allow you to respond more flexibly to your audience. The course focuses on understandable organisation and clear messages. Language preparation should support your confidence without making you dependent on one fixed wording.
How can I practise handling unexpected audience questions?
Questions and discussion are part of the course. A useful approach is to clarify the question first, ask for clarification where needed and organise your answer into a few clear steps. You do not need to know every answer immediately. The aim is understandable interaction rather than a memorised catalogue of replies.
Do I need to sound like a native speaker to present well?
No. Clear messages, an appropriate pace and logical organisation matter more to international audiences than having a particular accent. The course aims to help you communicate your message confidently. Speaking practice and feedback can identify points where wording or pronunciation make your meaning harder to understand.
Will the course also help with online presentations and video meetings?
The skills can also be used in those settings: structuring key messages, speaking clearly and responding to questions. This is language and communication training, rather than a course in presentation software. If a particular online meeting or virtual presentation is your goal, discuss that context before booking.
Can I work on a presentation from my own job?
A real workplace situation can help define your learning goals. Please agree beforehand whether and to what extent your presentation can be used in the course. Use only material you are permitted to share and remove confidential details. Individual coaching may be more suitable for highly specific requirements.
How is the eight-week course organised?
The course description provides for four topic modules and four live sessions across eight weeks. An initial assessment supports the start, followed by a Speaking & Presentation Check at the end. The timetable and delivery arrangements are agreed before booking. Eight weeks describes the period, not eight full weeks of teaching.
Is the qualification an official English language certificate?
The qualification is an EasyELEarning Academy course certificate, subject to the stated requirements. The final check relates to the skills addressed during the course. It does not replace an external Cambridge examination or automatically certify a CEFR level. Check the receiving organisation’s requirements if you need a specified language qualification.
