Three questions to guide your choice

At which level will you work?

Will you focus on the quality of a task, coordinate a management system or support leadership decisions? These responsibilities call for different learning priorities.

Do you want to develop processes or assess them?

QMS professionals design and coordinate processes. Internal auditors plan assessments, evaluate evidence and report findings. The perspectives complement one another.

What practical outcome do you need?

A reliable checking process, useful QMS documentation, meaningful performance indicators or a clear audit report makes the learning goal concrete.

Start with your goal. Then choose your course.

These programmes are offered as live online or classroom training. We agree the specific dates and timetable for your course. Classroom attendance includes catering and discussion with the trainer after teaching ends; overnight accommodation is excluded.

These programmes lead to Academy certificates after successful final assessment. A course award neither certifies your organisation’s QMS nor authorises you to issue external certification.

Questions about choosing your course

How do the specialist, representative and manager courses differ?

The specialist course addresses foundations and quality assurance. The quality management representative coordinates the QMS. The manager course focuses on strategic direction and development.

Must I take all the courses in sequence?

There is no fixed sequence. Your responsibilities and prior knowledge are the main considerations. Use the course descriptions and a consultation to decide.

Is an internal auditor the same as a lead auditor?

No. The linked Academy programme concerns internal audits with an ISO 9001 focus. It is not a PECB Lead Auditor course; qualifications and requirements must be considered separately.

What does a teaching unit mean?

One teaching unit, or UE, lasts 45 minutes. The timetable sets out teaching, breaks and assessment arrangements. A duration in weeks is not the same as daily teaching time.

How do I check formats, prices and possible funding?

Current product pages show prices and available formats. Solo-self-employed participants should consult an official KOMPASS contact point before making a binding booking. We can help with course selection.
