AI & Risk Management · Find your learning path

What do you need to manage more confidently?

You may be supporting an AI project, putting consistent processes in place or reviewing how they work. Or your responsibility may cover risks across the organisation. Start with that task: it will help you choose training you can use in your day-to-day work.

Three questions to guide your choice

Is your focus AI or risks across the organisation?

ISO/IEC 42001 focuses on an AI management system. ISO 31000 provides a general framework for dealing with risks across different activities and functions.

Do you need to understand, implement or audit?

Foundation builds a shared starting point. Implementer training focuses on establishing and improving a system. Auditor training focuses on assessing it through evidence.

What relevant experience do you already have?

Consider your previous projects and knowledge of management systems. This helps identify the right depth of training and the PECB credential you may later qualify for.

Start with your goal. Then choose your course.

Questions about choosing your course

Should I choose ISO/IEC 42001 or ISO 31000?

If your task is specifically to organise or audit AI management, start with the ISO/IEC 42001 learning paths. If you work with risks across projects or business functions, ISO 31000 offers a broader starting point. They can complement each other; your current professional task should guide the choice.

Do I need to take Foundation, Implementer and Auditor in sequence?

The three ISO/IEC 42001 paths are not a mandatory sequence. Foundation provides an introduction. For a Lead course, check the prior knowledge stated on the individual course page. Implementer and Auditor address different responsibilities; neither is an obligatory first step for the other.

What is the main difference between Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor?

Implementer focuses on designing and improving an AI management system. Auditor focuses on systematic assessment: which evidence is available, what does it demonstrate and how should findings be documented? Choose the path that matches your organisational role.

How do I choose between the three ISO 31000 courses?

Foundation suits you if you first need a sound understanding of the terminology, principles and approach. Risk Manager develops practical organisational application. Lead Risk Manager addresses the framework and risk management process comprehensively. Compare the detailed content with your experience and responsibilities.

Am I automatically certified after training, or does it certify my organisation?

Training alone neither gives your organisation an ISO certification nor automatically awards you a personal Lead title. Each PECB credential has its own examination, application and eligibility requirements; relevant professional experience may also be needed. Before booking, we can help you identify which credential fits your profile.

Which languages are available for teaching and examinations?

We offer PECB teaching in German, English or Hungarian. Examination and training-material languages are agreed separately, subject to availability. Teaching in Hungarian therefore does not automatically mean an examination in Hungarian.
