EasyELEarning Academy · Lean & Six Sigma

Choose a Belt that fits the work you want to do.

Do you want to improve everyday processes, work through a project or steer an improvement programme? Choose your learning path around your responsibilities, existing knowledge and next practical challenge.

Which learning path fits your role?

The offers address different responsibilities. Yellow and Green Belt are PECB courses; Black and Master Black Belt lead to the Academy’s own course certificate. Their titles do not establish automatic equivalence between credentials.

Three questions before choosing a course

A bigger problem does not automatically require a higher Belt. Consider the responsibility and depth of analysis your task involves.

1

How clearly is the task defined?

A named process, a responsible sponsor and an understandable goal provide a workable starting point. Where several departments and competing goals are involved, first establish the project boundaries.

2

Which data can you actually use?

Check the measures, collection rules and data quality. A large dataset does not establish a cause. Missing or inconsistent measurements belong on the project’s action list.

3

What will you be responsible for?

Contributing to a team, leading a project and steering a programme call for different skills. Bring a short example of your task so we can discuss the relevant learning path.

Illustrative Academy example

Turning an everyday concern into an improvement project

A service team receives complaints about late replies. Its first assumption is that it needs more staff. A DMAIC approach helps make that assumption testable before choosing a solution.

  1. Define

Specify the request type, the start and end of processing, and the intended outcome. Include clarification loops and waiting time explicitly.

  2. Measure

Collect timestamps and handovers using consistent rules. Before analysis, check whether missing records or different recording practices distort the picture.

  3. Analyze

Examine waiting time by request type and handover. An observed pattern is a lead to investigate, not yet proof of a cause.

  4. Improve

Pilot a suitable change on a limited scale, such as clearer initial routing. Use comparable periods and unchanged measurement rules.

  5. Control

Record the owner, measure and response to deviations. Check whether the benefit persists and whether work has merely moved elsewhere.

A Yellow Belt might contribute observations and data. The Green Belt path develops methodical project work. Complex analysis and cross-functional leadership may point towards the Academy’s Black Belt offer.

Learn live and agree the delivery arrangements

The full courses are delivered live online or in person. Online sessions use alfaview; the Odoo portal provides course information and materials. Dates and classroom location are agreed with you.

PECB tuition is available in German, English or Hungarian. Hungarian is a teaching language; examination and official-materials languages are agreed separately. The Academy’s Black and Master Black Belt courses are offered in German and English.

The PECB products also offer a separate four-hour live exam-preparation option for participants who have already prepared independently. Its scope, materials and examination arrangements are clarified separately. Current prices appear on each product page.

Who awards each credential?

PECB decides on the credential requested for Yellow or Green Belt. Attending training, passing an examination and applying for certification are separate steps. The regular Green Belt also has experience requirements; current PECB rules apply.

Black and Master Black Belt are the Academy’s own offers. Their outcome is the respective Academy course certificate, not PECB certification. Completion requirements are agreed before booking.

Questions about choosing your Belt

Do I need to complete every Belt in sequence?

Your entry level depends on knowledge, experience and responsibilities. Yellow Belt can provide orientation; this does not create a universal requirement to obtain every lower Belt first. We check the specific course’s admission and completion requirements before booking.

Is Green Belt only suitable for manufacturing?

No. Repeated service and administrative processes can also be investigated systematically. A clearly described problem, a manageable process boundary and usable observations or data are the important starting points.

Why describe my project before booking?

A short description helps establish whether you need foundations, a method for a defined project or preparation for a more complex leadership task. It can also reveal missing data, unclear ownership and unrealistic goals early.

Are all the Belt credentials awarded by PECB?

No. Yellow and Green Belt belong to the PECB offer. Black and Master Black Belt are the Academy’s own courses with an Academy course certificate. Each course page identifies the credential issuer, and the requirements are clarified before booking.

Can I take the training in Hungarian?

Yes. We offer the PECB Yellow and Green Belt courses with Hungarian as a teaching language. This does not determine the examination language; that and the official-materials language are agreed separately. Black and Master Black Belt are offered in German and English.

Have a practical challenge but no course in mind yet?

Tell us about your role, previous knowledge and the process you want to improve. We can then discuss the appropriate starting point and delivery arrangements.
