An attendance certificate records participation. An examination certificate confirms an assessed learning achievement. Personnel certification assesses competence against a defined certification scheme, which may also require evidence of practical experience. The specific requirements are what matter. The word “certificate” alone does not indicate accreditation.

An accreditation body, such as DAkkS, confirms a certification body’s competence within a defined scope. ISO/IEC 17024 is the relevant standard for bodies certifying people. Other certificate programmes may follow different standards. Accreditation applies to the body within that scope; it does not automatically extend to every course or training partner.

Check the exact issuing body, certificate title, scheme and validity. Compare these details with the official register and the schedule to the accreditation certificate. A familiar logo or a reference to “ISO” is not sufficient. If anything is unclear, ask the issuer to identify the applicable scope of accreditation.

No. ISO 9001 concerns an organisation’s quality management. AZAV governs the approval of providers and programmes within Germany’s employment promotion system. ISO/IEC 17024 concerns bodies that certify people. An assessed quality management system or AZAV approval therefore does not automatically make a course qualification an accredited personnel certification.

The brand name alone cannot answer that question. TÜV providers and DEKRA offer accredited personnel certifications alongside other types of qualification. Check the specific scheme and its scope. Whether the qualification meets the requirements of an employer, a tender or a role abroad depends on the requirements that apply in that context.

As a PECB Authorized Partner, we deliver PECB training courses. PECB decides whether to award a PECB qualification under its applicable process. PECB holds accreditations for specific programmes; their scope must cover the intended qualification. Partner status does not give EasyELEarning Academy its own ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation.

This designation refers to a course certified by CQI/IRCA and delivered by an approved training partner. It is distinct from an individual auditor’s registration. Check the particular course in the official CQI/IRCA directory. A PECB partnership or a similarly named Lead Auditor course does not, by itself, establish CQI/IRCA course certification.

No. Successful course completion provides evidence of training. Individual IRCA certification requires a separate application and fulfilment of the requirements for the grade sought. For Lead Auditor, these include documented audits and experience of leading an audit team. An attendance certificate alone does not replace successful course completion.

No. International recognition arrangements support confidence and comparability across borders. They do not guarantee unrestricted acceptance for every purpose. The requirements of the target market, an authority, a client or a tender still matter. Before booking, establish which specific qualification or evidence is required for your intended goal.

You should not assume blanket equivalence. PECB and IRCA have their own schemes, requirements and registration processes. A meaningful comparison considers the exact qualification, subject area, demonstrated competence and client requirements. If IRCA evidence is explicitly required, confirm acceptance of any alternative with the organisation requesting it before proceeding.

That depends on the scheme and certification grade. Professional experience, audit practice and other evidence may be required in addition to the examination. Maintaining or renewing certification may require evidence of continuing professional development and practical work. Before deciding, check validity, renewal rules and any ongoing costs with the issuing body.
