Book the complete course as live online training or in-person training. Both formats follow the same syllabus. The two-day course covers the foundations and prepares you for the PECB exam; the exact exam date will be agreed.

Materials, assessment and credential
The package includes official PECB materials, training in your booked format, registration and the fee for your first PECB exam attempt. After passing the exam, you can apply for the relevant PECB credential. The credential requires a passed exam and compliance with the applicable PECB requirements.
Additional option: 4 hours of exam preparation
The information about multi-day training applies to the full online and in-person courses. The €650 preparation option includes four hours of live exam preparation for participants studying the subject independently. It does not replace a full PECB course. Please agree materials and exam booking with us in advance.

Live online sessions take place via alfaview. Your Odoo learning portal brings together course information and materials.
Teaching and examination language
Teaching languages: German, English or Hungarian. The selected teaching language is confirmed when scheduling the course. Hungarian is a teaching language for this PECB course only and is not a promised examination language. The examination language and the language of official PECB materials are agreed separately before booking.

KOMPASS may support suitable professional development for eligible solo self-employed people in Germany. Arrange a consultation with us to discuss course selection. Mandatory funding advice and eligibility checks are provided by an official KOMPASS advisory centre. Only make a binding booking after the qualification voucher has been issued. Training must include at least 20 hours; not every offer meets this condition. Funding eligibility is assessed individually.
Frequently asked questions about this course
What does a PIMS add beyond individual privacy documents?
A PIMS connects responsibilities, processes and continual improvement for personal data handling. It creates a coherent management framework.
Do I need ISO/IEC 27001 first?
Not for ISO/IEC 27701:2025: the new edition is a standalone management system standard and can also be combined with an existing ISMS.
Can I join without a privacy certificate?
Yes. PECB specifies no formal prerequisites for Foundation. The course introduces systematic privacy management.
Does the certificate prove complete GDPR compliance?
No. A personal qualification does not confirm an organisation’s legal compliance. Privacy management supports implementation; legal obligations still need to be fulfilled separately.
Why distinguish controllers from processors?
Controllers decide why and how personal data is processed. Processors act on their behalf, creating different responsibilities and evidence needs.
How does Foundation differ from Lead Implementer training?
Foundation provides orientation and basic understanding. The advanced Implementer route is intended for planning and introducing a PIMS.
How does the two-day course at EasyELEarning Academy work?
You learn live online or in a classroom; the exam is part of the full course. Course materials and practical information are available through the Odoo learning portal.
Can the course be taught in Hungarian?
Yes, by arrangement. Hungarian refers to the teaching language; we separately confirm the available PECB exam language and official material language before booking.
