The plan includes four 60-minute self-study units and four 60-minute live sessions. Time spent on exercises and checks varies individually. Live sessions take place online via alfaview or, by agreement, in person. Optional translation, reading-comprehension and AI discussion tasks extend the practice. Dates and the schedule are agreed with you.

The Final Business English Check contains ten single-choice questions and one written reflection. The pass score is 70%, with no fixed time limit in the online check. The Academy course certificate is issued separately after the requirements agreed for your booking have been met. Completing the check alone does not issue a certificate.

Price and booking

The current price is shown in the booking section above and updates with your selected format. The in-person option includes four separate live appointments. The supplement is €100 net per in-person day, totalling €400 net. Combined or alternative schedules are agreed individually. Course dates, teaching language and venue are confirmed with you. Existing bookings retain their agreed terms.

Live online sessions take place via alfaview. Your Odoo learning portal brings together the four self-study units, course information and materials.

Frequently asked questions about this course

How is Business English different from a general English course?

Business English focuses on workplace situations: conversations, emails, meetings and working with international contacts. Grammar and vocabulary support the practical task of making your message clear. This course centres on that professional use of English, with learning goals agreed before you book.

What level of English do I need to start?

We discuss your existing knowledge and learning goals before booking. What matters is which workplace situations you can already handle and where you need support. The course does not specify a mandatory CEFR entry level. If you are unsure, describe a typical meeting or email task during your consultation.

I understand English but struggle to speak in meetings. Is this suitable?

The course also suits professionals who want to use their existing knowledge more actively. Conversation, meetings and workplace vocabulary are part of the content. Tell us where you get stuck so that your learning goal can focus on practical tasks such as asking questions, making short contributions or explaining an idea clearly.

Will we work on emails, or is the course only about speaking?

Emails and clear messages are explicitly included. The course also covers conversations, meetings and teamwork. If written communication is your main priority, discuss the emphasis before booking. This helps establish whether the general course or individual coaching is the better match for the tasks you need to handle.

Will I automatically reach the next CEFR level in eight weeks?

That cannot be promised for everyone. Eight weeks describes the course period; the stated total is eight hours. Progress also depends on your starting point and how you use English. Specific workplace goals are therefore more appropriate than a guarantee of a new CEFR level at the end.

Does eight weeks mean eight full training days?

No. The plan consists of four 60-minute self-study units and four 60-minute live sessions spread over eight weeks. Time spent on exercises and checks can vary individually. Live sessions are available online or as four separate in-person appointments; combined or alternative schedules are agreed individually.

Which certificate will I receive?

You receive an EasyELEarning Academy course certificate after meeting the stated completion requirements. It records completion of the Academy course. It is not a Cambridge examination certificate and does not automatically establish a particular CEFR level. If an employer or university requires a standardised language qualification, check its requirements separately.

When would individual Business English coaching be a better choice?

General Business English covers several common workplace situations. Individual coaching is more suitable when you want to focus on a personal task, such as an important presentation, a particular conversation or recurring communication difficulties. Share your goal, starting level and timeframe so that we can identify the appropriate course.
