Frequently asked questions about this course

Who benefits from Quality Manager if the organisation already has a QMB?

The course is intended for quality leaders, experienced QMBs and senior process owners. It addresses the strategic direction of quality, leadership and developing an effective management system. It complements day-to-day system coordination with decisions about objectives, performance, culture and change.

Is the focus technical inspection or management?

The emphasis is strategic quality management. You work with quality strategy, business objectives, culture, leadership and performance assessment. Industry-specific technical inspection methods are not the core of this course profile; any such requirements should be discussed as a separate training need before booking.

How do I connect quality objectives with senior management’s business objectives?

That connection is part of the course profile. You consider quality objectives alongside business goals and process performance. Useful objectives make benefits, responsibility and evaluation understandable. This helps quality activities become part of business management rather than an additional layer of reporting.

Can the course help improve the team’s acceptance of quality management?

Quality culture and leadership are explicit learning areas. You consider how quality is supported in everyday work and the roles played by leadership and communication. The course does not offer a universal solution for every team, but supports deliberate approaches to responsibilities and change.

What prior knowledge should I bring?

The offer is aimed at people with quality-management experience or senior process responsibilities. We discuss your specific knowledge and goals before booking. If you have little previous exposure to quality management, a foundation course or QMB may provide a more suitable starting point.

How can I assess the value of an improvement portfolio?

The course connects improvement portfolios, indicators, evaluation and change. You therefore look beyond the number of completed actions to their contribution to agreed objectives and process performance. Suitable criteria depend on your organisation and the decisions that your assessment needs to support.

What are the duration and award?

The course comprises 56 teaching units, approximately 42 hours. Dates and delivery arrangements are agreed. Once the specified completion requirements are met, you receive an EasyELEarning Academy course certificate. This is the award for the Academy’s course, not certification issued by ISO.

Does the course automatically qualify me for a management position?

The course develops knowledge and perspectives for strategic quality-management work. Eligibility for a management position also depends on your experience, the role’s requirements and the employer’s decision. Discuss your professional goal before booking so that the training is appropriate for it.
